- How do I get to the Shuswap?

- Where and How do we check in?
A: Between May and October you and your group will
sign in at "Sun Beach" located in Celista. If you will be
arriving after 5pm, before 9:30am, or anytime between October and May, you
can call us before you arrive at (250) 371-7003 to arrange for a check in
time.

- What is supplied?
A: All bedding is supplied (i.e. sheets, pillow
cases, pillows, and blankets). All properties have functioning kitchens
with dishes, utensils, coffee makers, pots & pans, dish towels, etc...
. Cleaning supplies, vacuum, and broom with dust pan will be in each unit.
We supply a starter kit which includes 4 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of
paper towel, and dish soap (not dishwashing detergent). Propane bottles
are included with each property but may require filling at the beginning,
or during your stay.
- What is not supplied?
A: We
do not supply Towels (i.e. hand towels, beach towels) although dish towels
are supplied. Hand soap, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent,
shampoo, and conditioner are not supplied.
- Things like laundry
detergent, and dishwashing detergent are items that are sometimes left in
the cabins by the previous group, so you may wish to wait until after you
arrive before purchasing these (there are two grocery stores in Scotch
Creek and convenience stores in Celista and Anglemont).
- Are there grocery stores near by?
A: In
Scotch Creek there is a Super Value and the Shuswap Lake Park Store which
are full service grocery stores as well as liquor outlets. In Celista and
Anglemont there are convenience stores with a selection of groceries as
well as liquor outlets.
- Where can we rent a boat?
A: Here is a

- Can I bring my pet?
A: Some
of our properties do accept pets, but Shuswap Cabins requires a written
request for permission before a pet will be accepted. Added
responsibilities when bringing a pet are: any damage caused by an animal
will be deducted from the security deposit (this includes cleaning yard of
pets waste), as well the renter must ensure the privacy of neighbours with
respect to your pet. If a property description lists "No
Pets" then it is not open for requests.
- Can we set up a trailer, tent, or camper on the
property?
A: Although
we will allow a tent for children to sleep out under the stars, it is not
to be used to increase the number of people staying at a property (more
than number of people allowed will result in immediate eviction without
refund). Campers and trailers are not permitted on any of our properties.

- What do we do with our garbage?
A: We
have either a pick up service in the middle of the week (take bags to the
curb) or on site garbage bins,
and any garbage that is left at the end of your stay will be picked up
after you check out.
